The stars are undeniably one of our favorite pleasures. Imagine sleeping under the stars, far away from the distracting city lights. Ponder the constellations, and the magical impact of astrology in our lives. Then turn your thoughts to your life, your creations and contributions, your ability to “shine”. Isn’t nature reflective of life, and our lives reflective of nature?
How many stars are in our universe?
Who can answer that question? What we see with our eyes is only a fraction. What science has brought into our consciousness goes much further. Imagine the spiral galaxies with more than a trillion stars. Take it further with what is called the giant elliptical galaxies, with 100 trillion stars within their grasp. Read more about the universe.
It’s in the stars
Astrology is both science and intuitive. Our natal chart brings into play the constellations as a unique template of a life, yet leaves open so much possibility and potential. Mankind began 25,000 years ago, give or take a thousand, with drawings of the moon cycle left in caves. Since then nearly every culture has developed their understanding of Astrology, and for good reason. We are only a speck in a very big universe.
Do you ever wish upon a star?
Star light, star bright,
The first star I see tonight;
I wish I may, I wish I might,
Have the wish I wish tonight.
What’s on your wish list?
When is the last time you stepped into the powerfully intuitive space called the imagination? Looking back, those star-bright moments an intense, personal relation: you, that first star, and a desire that was strong enough to bring it to the universe.
Sound a bit familiar? There have been so many teachings in how to realize your dreams, use the power of intent, and harness “The Secret”. Was the real founder of this inner connectivity with something bigger than any of us really harnessed by an innocent childhood poem?
What makes our relationship with the stars so special? Stars are distant, untouchable, but they hold an intense energy. Perhaps a part of their power is not in the star itself, but in the space between you and the stars. There is always space for something new to come into your life, or for a change in direction. That next deep breath is made possible by the space created for it.
What about our minds, and our big mental playground? Is there enough silence, the space that allows you to see your inner stars shining bright?
Have the wish you wish tonight..
It’s true, a moment spent with your inner child can lead you the simple things in life. Give those childhood moments a second thought. Those were the times you let yourself jump in fully vested, with joy, hope, and a mind that didn’t close the doors before they were ever opened.
