A brainchild of a preacher and clairvoyant from America who has lived through many experiences was the Aquarian Gospel of Jesus The Christ, a book full of explanations and was believed to have been transcribed based on the Akashic records. The book makes a good attempt to enlighten its believers on certain aspects of human life in relation to the universe.
The aquarian gospel and akashic records
The Akashic records is used to give description to a compilation of details on the experiences of a humans as well as the history of the cosmos. Many think that souls travel and access these records just like looking for a book in the library to determine what course of life they would be taking.
Hence, it can be believed that reincarnation is possible for souls who have not achieved their perfect state. Based on the account of Michael Newton, a hypnotherapist, souls search through the compilation for a way towards another lifetime. They have a choice to choose whatever they think would give them the opportunity to make reparations on their past lives.
Souls decide on which body and which family they would enter and are born through them. At birth, they undergo amnesia which erases their memory of the past. Some bits and pieces of the past lives that may have evaded the effects of amnesia collect and form one’s intuitive side. This would probably contest John Locke’s tabula rasa theory saying that humans were born without anything inside their heads.
Jesus – the missing years?
The Aquarian Gospel was believed to hold the answers to the missing years of Jesus. Because the Bible only depicts Jesus’ early childhood and entrance to public ministry, many are trying to find out what he did in between. The book speaks of Jesus going to other countries like India, Tibet, Greece and Egypt and that he was convinced by a Hindu priest who happened to listen to young Jesus’ debate in the temple to visit India.
During Jesus’ journey, he was able to show people what an exemplary being he is that he eventually acquired the title of The Christ. In his initiation he was deemed to have been fully enlightened by all his experiences in life and this happened in the last country he visited, Egypt.
In this manner, everyone is given the hope to come back to God by means of purifying themselves through undergoing several lifetimes. Through the process of completing reincarnation, every soul can become perfect just like how Jesus earned the title of The Christ.
The aquarian gospel – accepted?
These beliefs presented in the Aquarian Gospel has ignited a lot of dispute particularly from the Catholic Church who believes Jesus and Christ to be one and the same. This is an attack to the contend of the Aquarian Gospel that The Christ is a title given to just anyone. Whatever the truth is, there’s no way to force people to believe what they don’t want to and that religion remains to be one’s personal choice.
