A guardian angel is a spirit who has achieved a certain level of consciousness and agrees to serve for the betterment of mankind. Not every spirit is a guardian angel, but sometimes it can feel like a kindred spirit is helping us on that level.
Can Hindu Gods and Goddesses Be Guardian Angels?
Guardian angels are those spiritual helpers who resonate or connect with us. There are no hard, fast rules as to where they come from, at least not in our perspective of geography or levels in the cosmos.
There are many favored Hindu gods and goddesses who continue to serve as teachers and guardians in our lives no matter what our culture or beliefs. Lakshmi guides us with our ability to receive, and Quan Yin with compassion.
Can a Grandparent be a Guardian Angel?
Many times when we have a strong, close relationship with a family member we retain strong connections after they have passed. We hear stories all the time of signs of a beloved family member sending signals and messages through simple signs, like a hummingbird appearing just moments after a prayer for a sign.
Why Do We Have Guardian Angels?
We living in a very interactive work, and have multiple levels of consciousness. Despite our connectivity we have the ability to turn within and the ability to isolate ourselves. Our guardian angels can give us that sense of connectivity and support without feeling overwhelmed or a need to repay “the favor”. They are not here to be our heart or our head, or to make decisions for us. They serve us with guidance and leave it to us to choose.
It is written in Matthew 18:10 “See that you do not despise one of these little ones, for I say to you that their angels in heaven always look upon the face of my heavenly Father.”
