Tips to have an exciting and fulfilling breathing exercises:
1. When you breathe in /breathe out, you visualize your body by closing your eyes; think of a cool and fresh air is getting inside your lungs. Think also that some parts of your lungs just experienced air soothing inside.
2. Again, when you take in/out the air, focus on the act of breathing in/out. Imagine pink air is coming in, while blue air is coming out of your body. Then choose one kind of act, breathing in or out only.
3. Finally, watch the colored air seeping into your body through areas like your face, palms, stomach, and legs. Imagine the air being slowly sucked into your pores as if smoke were being drawn in.
All these may sound complex to you at first, but when you start doing them, little by little, they become easier to do. All you need are patience and practice. Why don’t you try doing some of the exercises above?
So, the next time you do your breathing exercises, try incorporating these tips and see what happens. For added interest, you can even make your own visualizations to make them personalized.
