Spring is a magical time of year, when what was dormant and unseen comes to life. Colors become more vivid in the springtime as well.
We can look at our own spiritual awakening like the blossoming in the springtime. The plant is very symbolic of the person as a whole. We are deeply rooted in the physical, yet our growth takes us upward into the light. Leaves spread outward and the flower opens itself to the air, drinking in the sunlight or spirituality from above.
The Meaning of Colors
What meaning do we find in the colors of spring? The same colors we would find that symbolize life in the human auric field.
The color of the rose, tinged with a touch of lilac is a sign of a love that is deeply spiritual.
The meaning of crimson is more seated in physical love. The clarity of the color or spiritual light that emanates is a sign of its purity.
The color yellow is very intellectual but when clear and light it can represent our wisdom or spiritual knowledge.
Orange, much like red, is a very active color, and can be seen as ambition. In a darker brownish tint it could be full of pride or stuck within the ego plane.
Green is an interesting color, and just like the leaves in springtime it is a sign of life and growth.
Blue covers a vast array of meaning, with indigo, cobalt, and many more shades. Blue is often associated with religious quests and taking that turn into self realization. In a darkened state it can fall into the trap of selfishness.
The lilacs are in bloom, and the delicate yet intense colors of luminous lilac blue fill our hearts and awaken our souls. This shade of blue is very closely tied to a spiritual or higher presence, and the desire to live the purposeful spiritual life.
Energizing Our Souls With the Colors of Spring
We find it so energizing and warming to see the flowers of spring, and the scent of the flowers lingers within our minds. It is very simple to fill our auric field, the energy that flows in and around the human body, with the colors of spring. You can close your eyes and bring attention to each color, allowing a million tiny blossoms to bloom all around you. What a wonderful way to refresh with the essence of springtime!
