Yesterday we looking into the concept of self-healing, delving into the most basic yet important parts of embracing our inner healer through greater awareness. The secret to improving our consciousness is simply slowing our vibration just a little so that we are even more “in the moment”. We spend a great deal of time in the spin of our mental processes, and embed ourselves deeply in our emotional experiences as well. Shifting our consciousness into the soul-consciousness simply takes practice. No worries, we’re not leaving anything behind, we’re actually gaining greater awareness of the many facets of life.
Let’s get back to our ABC’s:
Believe
Our mind is so powerful, but our spirit is really the driving force as well as the purpose and presence. When we believe we are aligning our thoughts with our actions. We are adding reason and meaning to what we do. Our beliefs are a combination of what we have been taught and how we perceive ourselves and the world around us. There is nothing stagnant or static about our beliefs, we create them and we can change them as well. The most powerful question you can ask yourself about any of your beliefs, “Does this serve me now”. If the answer is no then it is time to look more closely at why that belief was adopted in the first place. Was it based on different circumstances? Do you understand and know more now than when you adopted that belief? Does that belief support you soulful purpose and direction?
The secret to getting in touch with your inner healer is being in that state of mind-less awareness, and that means not weighing and measuring like we do nearly every moment of every day. Tone down the measure of judgment and turn up the compassion and understanding, and you’ll find that self healing comes much easier.
Tomorrow we’ll conclude this series about Getting in Touch with your Inner Healer.
