Divination is an art that has existed for centuries. One of the early tools used for divination was runes. These stones contain symbols, each holding their own meaning, and when the runes are chosen, face unseen, they can be read in a way that gives clues and insights into the influences of both today and tomorrow.
We could look at our present time dice as a progression from the days of runes. Certainly our dice today do not contain the symbolic images contained in runes, so they cannot be used in the same sense. If you were to turn to numerology there is still a gap since dice only contain 6 numbers each. Perhaps multiple dice could be used with the numbers added together and calculated down to a single digit, and that digit then reviewed to find some intuitive meaning.
One of the elements of using runes, or any divination tool for that matter, is that there are guidelines for the use and interpretation of the results. What value do those guidelines give us? They help us to create parameters in which to perform the reading of the runes or the dice.
The other aspect of the reading falls solely in the hands of the person performing the reading, before the runes or dice are ever involved. Forming a clear question is an important aspect of the reading, and is vital if you seek to find a clear response.
If you are using your dice or runes purely for entertainment then it doesn’t matter whether the question is trivial or convoluted. But if you are seeking clear signs to help you to expand your consciousness and awareness then setting a clear intent, learning the “rules of the game” and giving focus to your reading will all add to the overall results. Honor promotes honor.
