Psychic Reading: Why Is It Called a Reading?

There are a variety of names used to describe a session where you get intuitive or spiritually based information. We try new ones on for size all the time, seeking a clear, understandable way of describing exactly what is offered.

The one word that you will find more than any other is the word, “Reading”. Decades ago when I was honing my abilities as a clairvoyant reader I asked the question, “Why call it a Reading?” The answer back then is just as good now: the intuitive is focusing on the subject just like they are reading a book.

Now if you think of your life, both in experience and beliefs, as a book, it would be a very big book, wouldn’t it? This is where it gets really cool. Questions give you access to the index, you know, the section in the back of the book where you can look up a specific topic and it tells you which page to look for.

When someone asks a question, or shares an intent, I can focus on that specific wave of energy and watch the stories while they are asking the question. It’s amazing what I see. Sometimes the stories match the belief, and when I describe what I see the person I am reading is excited to hear about other aspects of themselves that support the situation or belief. How wonderful for someone to acknowledge that you are not just taking action, but you are standing behind your words on all levels. These sessions are very powerful confirmations, and can supercharge your next step to success.

Sometimes when someone asks their question or shares their thoughts the stories and images I see do not match or support. This is also very powerful, instantly rooting out the unconscious or subconscious barrier to living that part of your life completely. We’ve all been there, where we have been half-hearted or hesitant in our actions, and things just don’t turn out well, do they? In this type of reading I will be straight forward with you, tell you what I see, but I also bring in my style and grace in a way that helps you resolve the underlying cause of confusion. I will not join you in your story, I help you see more clearly who you are so you can rewrite the story in a way that benefits you on all levels.

Reading you like a book, that’s why it is called a reading. Fear not, I’m only looking at the parts of you that you ask me to look at, and will only see what your higher consciousness points out for me to see. We get right to the point, and that point is always what will serve you best.

So you may see the word “reading” used in many ways: psychic reading, clairvoyant reading, spiritual reading, or intuitive reading. They all lead to the same place, tuning into the book that is you, and focusing on that book as if its the most loved best-seller of all time.
