We’ve all felt stuck at some point or another, but feeling stuck does not mean we’re staying in one place. Normally we are taking two steps forward on an issue, then two steps back, then another two steps forward and another two back. Yes, we do end up back in the same place we started but we’re not really stuck there. That’s the reality of being stuck.
If you still feel stuck in an issue you can use that feeling as your target for meridian tapping. Say something like “Even though I feel stuck and like I can’t make a move, I accept myself anyway.” Then do the basic meridian tapping rounds for your feeling of being stuck.
Feeling stuck always occurs with doubts, and perhaps you doubt if you’re in the right relationship or career field. Before you leave anything take time to write a list of what is actually good in your current situation. For instance, if you have concerns about your job write down “Ten Things I Love about my Job.” This is a very important step, because you must leave a situation from a feeling of wealth rather than lack if you hope to go to a better place. So focus on what you have before you move on.
Meditation is another practice that can help you find your inner voice and get the direction you need. Take ten minutes a day to sit on the couch, close your eyes, and focus inward to the heart area. (You don’t need to sit in any special position.) Look around in your heart area, feel in there, and listen to what’s going on in there. Sometimes people find it easier to say something over and over again or count breaths or keep a rhythm. Every person and animal has an inner voice. Directions come from that inner voice. When you are not listening to your inner voice you get directions from the outside. Not listening to ourselves is a basic human problem.
Sometimes you might want to tap on any acupressure point to begin meditating, as this tapping will calm you down. Soothe yourself with deep, flowing breaths and relaxing thoughts or humming. Set a good intention by saying “This is my twenty minutes of meditation where no one and nothing will bother me.”
If, for example, you are stuck around the issue of attracting more clients, you can express appreciation for the clients you have. The universe gives you more of the same, so if you start from a place of lack, more lack is what you will get. That’s why it’s important to appreciate what you have.
Then you can look at what your beliefs are and what is keeping you from attracting more clients. Find your reason, which is a tappable issue. We block our own attraction abilities. Find out why you block your ability to attract clients. Find out what your belief is, then tap on it.
Lots of people love talking about the Law of Attraction but are pretty hesitant to use it. One of the best parts about the Law of Attraction is that it’s so simple, and the exercises involved in using it in your life are fun to do and show quick results. When you make your gratitude lists and your “as if” gratitude lists, focus on the feelings. The words on the page are not as important as the feelings they evoke, and you will find more and more of these same feelings like breadcrumbs dotting your path and showing you the way. If you have a feeling that is holding you back you can meet it head on, blast through it, and expand your horizons.
Meridian tapping, Law of Attraction, and meditation are all tools for getting unstuck and attracting what you want into your life.
