Reiki energy healing is a term known worldwide. This style of energy healing, was discovered during a meditation journey by a monk by the name Usui in the 1800′s. In the words of Usui: “Our Reiki Ryoho is something absolutely original and cannot be compared with any other path in the world”.
The name “Reiki” is a japanese word said to mean “universal life energy”, and while the word is not exclusive to the Reiki energy healing technique taught and carried forth by Usui it is often associated with this system of healing.
