This article is in two parts: first we look at why we hold on to things that do not help us, then we look at simple ways to release.
Energy healing is a wonderful thing, so full of intent to be healthy and feel alive. It’s easy for us to get ourselves into patterns that are less-than-healing. In other words we can detach ourselves from certain parts of our world, but what seems to be a move to keep ourselves safe also isolates us and breaks down our ability to release the energies that caused our discomfort in the first place.
We move along, continuing to hold on to energies that no longer serve us: physically we accumulate toxins and waste in our cells, blood, and digestive tract; emotionally we repress our feelings and pick up the emotions of others; and spiritually we store the mish-mash of emotions, experiences and beliefs all wrapped up in a sticky mess that then collects other energies, making matters worse.
Eventually, we hope, we find a time to release. But, if we are at all weakened, whether it is physically, emotionally, spiritually, or mentally, then we might not be up to a deep clearing. This is where the original focus of this article comes into play.
We should be down to earth and focused through our desire for living, being clear and able to enjoy our lives. “Down to Earth” isn’t about bearing a load, being weighed down, or overloaded by heavy thoughts.
In part two of this article we will explore energy healing “from the ground up”. We’ll take a peak at modalities that support one another in their beliefs and practices, and you will be presented with a 20 minute “let it go and fill me up” self-healing technique that is easy to use and enjoyable at the same time!
