The stresses of modern life makes it almost impossible for people to relax. Everyone seems so busy with work, home life, family, relationships and always something money related from bills to work related money. It would be nice if we all took more time to relax so now better than ever is where it should start.

Take several deep breaths exhaling in and out slowly. Take air into the nose and out through the mouth this way you can exhale the most air possible. Keep concentrating and focusing on relaxing, think about nothing but relaxing. Clear your mind of all thoughts, its tough at first but it gets easier.

Now you need to start concentrating and then try and picture a calming image. Everyone has something different that relaxes them so picture yours. Could be you at a picnic, family get together, you alone in the woods anything that makes you calm and happy. Once you have that its the time to make the images and you appear more real.

Try fill your mind with all the sights and sounds around you. Look around at the scenery, listen to the sounds and the noises. Make it all as real as possible you need to feel like you are really there. Try and walk or swim, or even just pick up something that may be in front of you. This is to help you so make it work as best as you can and make things real in front of you. You have the power so keep trying till its right.

If the vision is as real as you can possibly make it then the relaxation has already begun and its all because of you. Try and set some time aside everyday to go to your happy place, it will pay of and your on your way to a new relaxing life.
